The Preamble represents the intention behind the Constitution, laying down a format that the Framers intended the country to follow through the future of lawmaking. The Preamble established the intention of the Constitution and helped to solidify the meaning and intentions of the United States.

I really like this video. It's funny and meant to poke fun at Barney, but it also symbolizes something that I think is very important when it comes to the Preamble. In this clip, Barney forgets every single word of the Preamble and requires Andy to read it back to him. To me that represents how each of us can sometimes forget what the United States was intended to stand for, but that there will always be someone there who can remind us what the United States is supposed to represent.
